When we say everything, we mean, everything you can think of,
But with a lens that is ours and ours alone,
We want movie theatres with subtitles and ramps,
Restaurants with Braille on their menu,
Sign Language Interpreters at every event the world has,
We want railings in all bathrooms,
And dresses which have easy to use zips,
We want classrooms without stairs,
Footpaths without broken tiles,
We want wheelchairs to fly on every surface,
And crutches to not slip,
Walls with markings to feel where we are going,
Hyper-stimulation alerts at concerts,
We don't want your world,
We want to make ours,
Where accessibility is not something to thank anyone for,
But is a non-negotiable human right,
As it always should have been.
